This is how the elderly couple had envisioned a winter vacation in Marbella - and it's exactly what they experienced.
The couple was not at all aware that all the town's movers and shakers are currently on trial in Malaga on charges of corruption in connection with real estate dealings, or that US First Lady Michelle Obama caused an international stir last summer with her visit to Marbella.
But it was the images they had in their heads - taking a stroll in the special light and warmth of the Mediterranean - which attracted the older couple to Spain's sunny coast, just as before them the jet set."
