On the first night, Sunday, one student broke a leg after being run over by a car, and the spokesperson of one neighbours association, María Gómez, told El País that is is lamentable that this type of tourism is being promoted when you wake up to the street covered in vomit.
Other highlights of the event so far – 22 year old Erik from Portsmouth, who has broken the record for underwater sangria drinking. He told El País – we come here to play sport, but only with a hangover.
